Well this is why we play Ham radio. At least this is why I play Ham Radio. Here's a fresh recording of me working S21YZ on 20 Meters tonight. At least I THINK I worked S21YZ. There seems to be two stations running on the same frequency after listening to the recording several times. I guess I'll know tomorrow if I worked Bangladesh or somebody else. I'm really hoping it's S21. That was everything I could do to filter his signal. I added some APF and a little attenuation to try to bring him up out of the noise. We shall soon see if N0UN made it into the S21YZ Online Log when it's updated. Fingers are crossed.

March 20th, 2011. 20 Meters, 0155Z. 14.011.0 (split 14.011.9)

Well this is why we play Ham radio. At least this is why I play Ham Radio. Here’s a fresh recording of me working S21YZ on 20 Meters tonight. At least I THINK I worked S21YZ. There seems to be two stations running on the same frequency after listening to the recording several times. I guess I’ll know tomorrow if I worked Bangladesh or somebody else. I’m really hoping it’s S21. That was everything I could do to filter his signal. I added some APF and a little attenuation to try to bring him up out of the noise. We shall soon see if N0UN made it into the S21YZ Online Log when it’s updated. My fingers are crossed.

S21YZ – N0UN

73, N0UN

ADDED: After checking today, I DID make the S21YZ Online Log. Good stuff

ADDED: March 28th, 2011. 20 Meters, 1426Z. 14.195.0 (split 14.200.0). I recorded my SSB QSO with S21YZ this morning. They were struggling with some noise but a couple of us from the USA made it through. After listening to the recording, seems I need to tone down my audio on the DVS2 a bit. S21YZ and N0UN on 20M SSB.
